On these days, there is a 60-minute ESD sustainability tour "Sustainable & fair - chocolate and cocoa". The program consists of a guided tour and ends with an extra fair tasting. Sustainable and fair chocolate - what does it taste like and what can I look out for the next time I go shopping? What seals and programs are there? Participants in our compact tasting will find out all of this and taste different chocolates.

Cooperation with Plant-for-the-Planet

The Chocolate Museum has entered into a partnership with the children's and youth initiative "Plant-for-the-Planet". In Mexico, Plant-for-the-Planet plants a new tree every 15 seconds. However, the restoration of forests is a challenging task that requires a long-term and holistic approach. With the Restoration Research Park on the Yucatán Peninsula, Plant-for-the-Planet has established a center for applied forest restoration research. Among other things, it is investigating how damaged forests can be restored on a large scale and how lost species can be brought back, which methods are most effective in different ecosystems and how forests can withstand the challenges of the climate crisis.
