Pringles Chocolate

Why are people dipping all their Pringles in chocolate?

And here's why our own creation is even better!

Have you seen it on TikTok or Instagram yet? The latest trend in the world of treats might sound a bit odd at first, but it’s actually brilliant: potato chips meet chocolate.

The “Pringles-chocolate trend” in particular is making waves right now. The idea: the uniform crunch of the stacked chips is coated in a layer of smooth chocolate. The result? A flavor explosion of sweet, salty, and extremely crispy.

We put it to the hype test!

Of course, we couldn’t just sit back and watch at the Chocolate Museum. We headed to the confectionery and, together with our Maître Chocolatier Aiga, dared to try the experiment. We dipped Pringles into our finest liquid Lindt milk chocolate—and yes, we’ll admit it: it’s damn delicious! This contrast between the savory potato flavor and the sweet, melt-in-your-mouth texture is addictive.

The Upgrade

Our new home group initiative

But we wouldn’t be the Chocolate Museum if we didn’t take it a step further. While trendy chips often have a very distinctive taste, we wanted to find the perfect balance.

We experimented, tasted, and finally created our very own “Salted Crunch Chip Bar”:

  • The base: Our premium Lindt milk chocolate.
  • The crunch: We use extra-crispy potato chip pieces for the ultimate crunchy experience.
  • The finish: A fine pinch of hand-selected Fleur de Sel and a hint of our Lindt dark chocolate—a perfect topping.

Our team’s verdict? Amazing! The chips give the chocolate a lightness and texture unlike anything you’ve tasted before. It’s less “fast food style” and more “gourmet snacking fun.”

Now available in our Chocolat Shop!

We’re so thrilled with the result that we’re bringing the recipe straight from the confectionery to our shelves. You can now get your hands on our new creation in our Chocolat Shop.

Whether as a gift for chocolate lovers or for snacking on the couch—give it a try: Are you Team “Sweet and Salty,” or do you prefer to stick with the classic bar?
