The Cologne Chocolate Museum is one of Germany’s most famous museums and welcomed over 700,000 visitors from all over the world in 2024. Located right on the Rheinauhafen, the museum showcases the history and culture of chocolate.
Using state-of-the-art technology and a great deal of handcrafted work, our glass-walled chocolate factory and chocolate workshop produce delicious chocolate products such as bars, truffles, and hollow figures every day.
Around 400 kg of the finest chocolate are processed here every day. We look forward to your active support!
Your responsibilities:
- Daily production planning: Determining which products to manufacture, coordinating orders, and scheduling staff
- Production tasks: Actively participating in the production of our chocolate products, as well as preparing and cleaning up afterward
- Workstation preparation: Setting up equipment and machines, and preparing the necessary chocolate molds
- Order processing: Handling orders from internal and external customers and assisting with the resolution of complaints
- Inventory management: Monitoring and managing inventory levels, conducting inventory counts
- Production hygiene: Conducting quality controls, organizing samples, and overseeing production cleaning
- Your Profile:
- Interdisciplinary experience and a strong understanding of food production processes
- Some leadership experience is desirable
- Good computer skills, particularly in using Office programs and inventory management systems
- High level of commitment, flexibility, and willingness to work varying weekend shifts and on holidays
- Very good written and spoken German
