As feared, the sorcerer's apprentice, who calls himself "the great mumbo jumbo", immediately causes a great deal of confusion. Lea's request to help an injured eagle owl waiting in an animal sanctuary comes at a rather inopportune time. Petronella puts the children off until later. But Lea doesn't want to wait for that. And when Mumpitz offers his help, the children set off on their own with the sorcerer's apprentice ...
