We're sure you've all been there: sometimes there are a few pieces left over from a delicious bar of chocolate and you wonder what to do with them. Wait a minute, we realize that - this scenario is probably as rare as a unicorn in the wild, especially when it comes to the irresistible chocolate from our museum store! Nevertheless, or perhaps precisely because of this, we have a great idea for you on how you can turn even the smallest chocolate leftovers into something special.
The art of using leftovers: delicious drinking chocolate
What if we told you that you could conjure up a heavenly drinking chocolate from these "unlikely" chocolate leftovers? It's easier than you think and a wonderful way to enjoy every last crumb. Just imagine: Warm, creamy drinking chocolate that goes perfectly with a cozy afternoon on the sofa. A real treat!
Back to homemade drinking chocolate:
All you need is roughly 100 grams of chocolate, 2 tablespoons of cocoa, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 1 pinch of cardamom, cinnamon as well as ground cloves. But I can reassure you, if you don't happen to have ground cloves at home, you can leave them out. Only sugar and cocoa are essential for a delicious drinking chocolate.
Once you have your ingredients together, all you have to do is finely grate the chocolate, mix with the remaining ingredients and pour into glasses.
Your spice mix for drinking chocolate is now ready, can be infused with warm milk and is ready to enjoy!
