Adventskalender aus dem Schokoladenmuseum

Advent calendar from the Chocolate Museum

A sweet journey through time: Our chocolate advent calendar is here!

Dear chocolate fans, dear connoisseurs of the Christmas season,

December is just around the corner and with it begins the most beautiful tradition: the Advent calendar! This year will be historic and, above all, chocolaty!

We will take you on a unique journey through the sweet art of chocolaterie. Every morning, when you eagerly open the door of our Advent calendar, you will not only find a little moment of reflection, but above all a unique, hand-cast chocolate bar, made in a historical mold , which we have taken out of the showcases in our exhibition. Every day, we bring a different, beautiful piece of chocolate history to life. From intricate ornaments to nostalgic Christmas motifs - each bar tells its own centuries-old story. Every day, we show you which historical shape inspired us and how the delicate masterpiece is created.

And because the run-up to Christmas is supposed to be full of wonder, we have hidden a very special surprise behind some of the doors to sweeten the wait for Christmas Eve! Be there when we open a door every day from December 1. Experience the magic of craftsmanship and the irresistible charm of old chocolate molds filled with the finest chocolate.

We wish you an enjoyable and contemplative Advent season!

I'm Astrid and I've been working in marketing at the Chocolate Museum for more than 10 years. It's one of the nicest places to work in Cologne and there are always great stories to tell about cocoa and chocolate. Where else can you get such a great view of the Rhine right from your desk?
