Dark chocolate with orange crisp
Today we are going to pour chocolate for you into a historical flat mold (or embossing mold) made of cast metal, which was used to produce a round piece of chocolate, a so-called chocolate plaque or chocolate coin. Molds with such detailed embossing were particularly popular in the period between 1880 and 1930. Without a maker's mark, it is unfortunately no longer possible to determine the exact place of origin.
The mold shows a detailed Christmas tree on a kind of pedestal or hill with the caption Christmas. Small stars are depicted to the left and right of the tree.

We have come up with another delicious creation for you. For the fans of dark chocolate among you, we use Lindt Excellence with 50% cocoa content, which has a harmoniously mild taste, and add candied orange peel. We think it's a very fine mixture.

Dark chocolate is perfect for detailed shapes, pralines, small figures and hollow figures. It contains less sugar and more cocoa, which gives it a firmer consistency and an intense flavor.
Surprise your loved ones with a chocolatey Advent gift. You can find beautiful chocolate molds in shops everywhere.
