Milk chocolate with a golden sheen

Traditional knowledge

This shape shows six bottles (or small carafes/containers) in a row. The bottles are grooved or braided, which was often used on wine or liqueur bottle figurines to make them appear more decorative. It is a single plate with six indentations. Such molds were typically used to cast half-figures or flat reliefs, which were either sold as such or used as inserts for a chocolate box. It is made of metal, probably tinplate or a similar material, which is typical of historical German chocolate molds from the late 19th or early 20th century. Unfortunately, the embossing can no longer be deciphered.

Whole milk with gold spray

You've already learned how to melt chocolate if you follow us here. Today we're going to pour milk chocolate into this beautiful mold and make our own chocolate tree decorations. We'll finish our little works of art with gold food spray to give them a Christmassy sparkle. We place the matching golden tags while the chocolate is still liquid.

On December 24, we use them to decorate our Christmas tree. One or two people will certainly want to snack on them.
