Traditional knowledge

This particular chocolate mold with detailed pine cones most likely originates from the Dutch or North German mold industry and was produced in the early 20th century. When the Christmas tree became popular in Germany in the 16th to 18th centuries, wealthy citizens often decorated it with edible items (gingerbread, nuts, confectionery). This also served as a gift for the children.

Sparkling pine cones: DIY tree decorations in dark gold

The most beautiful decorations are often the ones you can eat! How do you like our dark chocolate pine cones, which bring an extra dose of glamor to the Christmas tree? Once the dark chocolate had been poured into our historic cone mold and cooled, we transformed the chocolate pine cones into sparkling, festive works of art for the Christmas tree with a fine touch of gold food spray. Before cooling, carefully dip the golden ribbon for hanging into the chocolate with a fork. A recommendation for anyone who wants to decorate their Christmas tree with chocolate!
