Learn – experience – discover

The Chocolate Museum is a multifaceted and interactive place of learning and experience. From the cultivation of cocoa and the production of chocolate to 5,000 years of cultural history, fair trade and sustainability, hardly any topic is left out. A visit to the Chocolate Museum is a meaningful addition to school lessons and motivates independent learning. Here, not only the intellect is addressed, but also all of the human senses: visual, auditory, tactile, even olfactory and tasting experiences are possible.

The Chocolate Museum offers unique learning opportunities due to its spatial conditions. The environment is lively, multi-sensory and emotional. Interdisciplinary, explorative and action-oriented learning is possible. For children and young people, a visit to the Chocolate Museum means learning without effort, with fun and without external pressure.

Guided tours for school classes

The Chocolate Museum invites school classes on an exciting and educational journey into the world of chocolate with a tailor-made programme. Where does the cocoa bean come from? How is chocolate made? Interested students will find answers to these and other questions in the museum’s exhibitions. The interactive guided tours and participatory activities of the museum are aimed at all school levels and school types. As a special offer for school classes, we offer additional tours before the museum opens from 9.30 a.m.
